Jo Tiszavari was born in Dunedin and is the Founder and Director of Truce.
Jo has 15 years experience in conflict resolution both as a Police Negotiator, Restorative Justice Facilitator and working in Bougainville, PNG with ex combatants. She specialises in family harm cases and workplace disputes. Jo has successfully facilitated over 300 family violence court referrals.
Truce is committed to improving the way people relate to each other in their workplaces, community groups and at home through mediation, mentoring, counselling, and conflict resolution programs. We facilitate processes that allow often deeply negative feelings to be gradually transformed into cooperation by using restorative principles and practices.
